19th March

Easter- The Characters in the Story Mary, Mother.

Responses are from a liturgy used on Iona- Wildgoose Publications

Where Christ Walks We will follow

Where Christ stumbles We will stop

Where Christ cries We will listen

Where Christ suffers We will hurt

When Christ dies We will bow our heads in Sorrow

When Christ rises again in glory We will share his endless joy.

I’m going to see him, going to see him carry that cross. He’s my wonderful son, so why do they want to kill him? My friends don’t want me to see him, but I must, I wish I could help. I wish I understood why. He’s been destined for it, but why the pain? My son, my beloved son, my Jesus.

Prayer

Heavenly Lord, Mary felt the pain of a person who loses a loved one. Help us we pray to always let those whom we love, know that we love them, so that our lives may always be rich with love.
